Wheel of Nakoa
This is a flagship full day Program. Wheel of Nakoa was created by Tyler 15 years ago in Canada, and has been the most popular of all courses offered by Reading Nature. Wheel of Nakoa starts with core routines to prepare you for what’s to come, then moves into a bunch of sensory awareness exercises that build upon eachother. This program culminates in a game of stealth and mind mapping through the forest. Wheel of Nakoa hones self resilience, leadership, initiative and team building skills. It is highly recommended for individuals seeking to increase their self reliance and self trust, corperate groups and sports teams who want to sharpen their collaboration and initiative building skills and anyone who enjoys a challenge.
What to bring:
Please bring something to sit on (picnic blanket, yoga mat or fold out chair), stationary for taking notes. Weather in Tasmania is unpredictable, ensure you arrive with a warm jacket, a raincoat and sun protection. Some of this course will take place off track, it is imperative that you bring sturdy worn in shoes.
This course does not include lunch, please ensure you bring whatever food/snacks and water you may require. Time will be given for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea as well as a couple short snack breaks. The location of this course isn’t near any shops so please ensure you arrive to the course with whatever food/water you might need for the day.
