Reconnecting people to nature, each other and themselves

Reading nature provides a quiver of industry leading courses in outdoor and environmental education, ancestral skills, and naturalism. From learning to start a fire by friction, natural navigation, mindfulness, guided ecology walks/hikes, spotlighting, and navigation by the stars, to team building, sensory awareness, initiative and leadership training. Each program will deepen your understanding and connection to the natural world and your inalienable place as part of it. Reading nature also offers courses and workshops by guest educators and speakers; all other Nature based skills workshops by Reading nature are instructed by Tyler Parkes and offered in South east Tasmania.

“This course reminds each of us that adventure is a state of mind and that new rich perspectives can be discovered by approaching the familiar with an open, alert and creative mind.”
